Barbara and her husband, Jerry Gould, started Conrad Direct in 1982. She had been a practicing psychotherapist for a number of years - excellent preparation for a future in the list industry. Since making that new commitment, Barbara has assumed a leadership role in all facets of the business. But her formula for helping Conrad stay ahead of the curve, through so many changes in the industry, has been building a staff with the best people in the business and providing an environment where they can flourish.
